Privacy policy

In short: we collect the data needed to sell and deliver a guide (your email, your order and what Stripe tells us about the payment). We never see or store your card number. We do not sell your data. You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at hola@visualibro.com.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is e-Mentors Company LLC (trading as Visualibro), 30 North Gould Street, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. Contact: hola@visualibro.com.
This policy covers visualibro.com and the Visualibro stores on its subdomains.
2. What data we collect
- Order data: your name (if you enter it), email address, country, the products you bought, the amount, the currency and the date.
- Payment data: the payment is processed by Stripe. We receive a confirmation, the last four digits of the card, the card brand and the payment status. We do not receive or store the full card number, expiry date or security code.
- Delivery and support data: the emails we send you (confirmation, download link, receipts) and the messages you send us.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and the approximate location derived from the IP address, collected by our hosting provider and by the analytics and advertising tools described in section 6.
3. Why we use it
- To process your order, deliver the guide and send you the receipt (performance of a contract).
- To answer your questions and handle refund requests (performance of a contract and legitimate interest).
- To prevent fraud and card abuse, together with Stripe (legitimate interest and legal obligation).
- To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
- To send you information about Visualibro guides by email, only if you have agreed to it; every message has an unsubscribe link (consent).
- To measure and improve our site and our advertising (consent where the law requires it, otherwise legitimate interest).
4. Payment security
Payments are handled through a secure payment form provided by Stripe, over HTTPS. Stripe is certified as a PCI DSS Level 1 service provider. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never pass through Visualibro's servers. Stripe's own privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
5. Who we share data with
We share data only with the providers we need to run the service, and only what each one needs:
- Stripe (payments and fraud prevention).
- Brevo (transactional and, with your consent, marketing emails).
- Vercel (hosting of the site and stores).
- Advertising platforms such as Meta, where you have consented to measurement cookies (section 6).
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell personal data.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
This page, visualibro.com, uses no cookies and no analytics. Our stores may use strictly necessary cookies (to keep your cart and checkout working) and, where you consent, measurement pixels from advertising platforms such as Meta to understand which ads led to a purchase. Where the law requires it, the store asks for your consent before setting non-essential cookies and lets you change your choice.
7. How long we keep data
Order and payment records are kept for as long as accounting and tax laws require. Support emails are kept while they are useful to resolve your request. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.
8. International transfers
e-Mentors Company LLC is based in the United States, and our providers process data in the United States and the European Union. When data of residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland is transferred, we rely on the safeguards our providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the European Union, the UK GDPR, or the CCPA in California) you may have the right to:
- know what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- correct it or ask us to delete it;
- object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- not be discriminated against for exercising these rights;
- lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, write to hola@visualibro.com from the email address you used with us. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting.
10. Children
Our products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy by publishing a new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
